A consequence would be that the “unfettered free trade” which is available now in favor of the corporations, will be changed by “fair trade” that will tilt the balance and only employees. This will lead to new rules of the game. Singapore will have to change and adapt to a fresh global environment also, with its new opportunities and issues. It will not be easy but it is better to live in a fairer world.
